Many of the recipes you will find on this site are vegetarian or pescatarian. A few years ago I chose to stop eating red meat, at least for now, and I’m a little picky about my poultry (I like to know where it comes from, and that it had a good life!). Sometimes I experiment with vegan or gluten free recipes for fun, and try to put a healthier twist on dishes. I like to shop at the farmer’s market, and support local food growing whenever possible, although I apparently have a horrible greenthumb, and have killed most herbs and small vegetables I’ve tried to grow on my windowsill at home. I’m by no means a perfectionist, and will even post some cooking experiments gone wrong — hey, at least someone can learn from my mistakes!
